Afeef Worst Fall - thus far (Nauzubillah may this b d last)

Afeef jatuh teruk this morning! And by teruk I mean it involves blood, and this was the 1st time! I was in the kitchen washing his sippy cup, while he was at the tv lounge standing beside his Babah, trying his baby steps while memapah2 the sofa. Tiba2 dgr die menangis yg sangat dahsyat as though menahan sakit yg amat, berlari la Mama ke depan to find Babah tgh dukung comforting him sambil jalan keluar rumah (dalam rumah was quite dark in d morning). Abah ckp "Ala afeef jatuh sikit je.."

But I don't believe Abah 100% because I know his cry, when he cries like that, it means he's in a very agonizing pain. So I checked his mouth immediately as soon as I reached both of them outside only to find out that his upper gum is full of blood! Alahai, longlai lutut mama tgk Afeef's blood yg banyak for the 1st time, terus nk amik EL. Tok Jam die ckp, ala Mama dgn Babah pegi la keje xpe Afeef dh ok, Atok bole tgkkan.." sambil sapu sikit  minyak gamat dgn cotton wool while he was still crying and terus dukung Afeef n bawak keluar bilik. Terus Afeef senyap.

I brought out a bigger bottle of minyak gamat and with my point finger, I tried to swab the minyak gamat at his wound. Menganga aje Afeef sambil disapu minyak smbil hisap jari Mama, hihi sedap ke rase minyak gamat tu nak..

His upper lip was much pouty than usual, kesian...Hakimi said to me, "Kenapa Afeef tu moncong aje?" Hihi, of which I replied to, "Bukan moncong, bibir die bengkak~"

Just before nk push off to work, I tried to peek into his mouth to see the severeness of the wound but he keeps on avoiding and looking away, sakit agaknye. So I tried distracting him by saying cheerfully and goofily, "Where is your teeth? Show me your teeth~" of which he smiled to and I take the chance to have a look at his wounded gum, a bit luka plus biru sikit.

Risau jugak, tp called Bibik from the office and she reported that Afeef makan as usual, xsakit dh la kot..kuat anak Mama~

Told Mama Ngah die and she said, agak2 gigi die akan tumbuh ke dalam n xjadi jongang x sbb dh terhentak mcm tu? Heheh..ngeng betul Mama Ngah die ni~

Afeef vs. Cili Padi

Mama ingat mama pregnant kan anak Mama ni tiba2 gile mkn cili padi hidup, anak mama ni tahan pedas. So pagi tadi while having mee goreng basah as breakfast, suap la jugak Afeef. A bit hot but sekali suap muka Afeef selamba, nganga lagi minta disuap, suap lagi. Relax aje anak mama ni mkn pedas, dalam hati wahh hebat anak aku ni. After 7-8th suap tiba2 Afeef kenyit2 mata and his lips twisted in funny way. Then he started to cry sambil tangan hulur pada mama minta didukung. Terus Babah fetch Mama's sipper bottle and gave it to Afeef. Wah laju betul die minum air. Alahai pedas rupenye dia, lambat sikit reaction, hihi sian anak Mama~~

Oh speaking of which, gara-gara makan mee kuning breakfast tadi, I had my worst morning sickness today. ergh....mual ( tp berjaya thn muntah) smpai ke lunchtime and dragged (but a bit better feeling) sampai ke malam.

Afeef's First Tooth~

Baru perasan after balik kerja today, Shasha told me..no wonder rs sakit bile die menyusu..dah besar dh anak mama, ade gigi dah. Tumbuh yg bahagian bawah, the left front (kalau facing his mouth).

Korea Sparkling Part 1

Wahh lega nye boss dh approved my 2 weeks leave for Korea hols~

Kelegaan yg xdpt nk digambarkan dengan kata2..Abang has been pestering me to send my leave form since last week (coz his has been approved), tp bile tgk muke boss yg mendung hari2 tu ketaq lutut chek..takott..

This hol is very special coz 1stly, we'll be touching down on Incheon ground on our 2nd anniversary on the 15th of February. 2ndly, this shall be Afeef's 1st time flying and it will be a long journey for him in the sky! (which makes me nervous too in ensuring him equalizes everytime there're pressure drops). 3rdly, this is my family's 1st time spending long holiday retreat together since I've been married except that it will be much fun if Adam could join us :(

Anyway, Alhamdulillah..hopefully all will run as planned, insyaAllah..

Afeef 9mths

Hmm anak mama dh 9 months dah now..Afeef dh pandai ape?

1) Kata Babah, kalau Afeef bangun in the morning and saw Mama's sleeping beside him, he won't cry and just main2 sorang keliling/nearby Mama aje. Bak kate Babah, as long as Mama is beside him, needn't to worry about him falling off the bed. :)

2) Afeef dah makin kuat. Selambe je berdiri effortlessly. Merangkak pun makin laju now. Pantang ade tempat berpaut, mesti nk stand up. Even while baring menyusu pun die bole pegang badan Mama and berdiri sambil menyusu, Afeef..Afeef... :)

3) Makin becok, everybody in the house thought Afeef dh pandai mengajuk cakap org. Ibu Ngah die ckp, bile org ckp "Babah" he will echo back "Babababababababahhh..". When people called him "Afeef.." He'll echo back "afefefefefefff..." And yesterday, when I said to him "Tatih..tatih.." He echoed back "Attehhh..Attehhh.." But the most overused word by him is "Abbah..Abbahh..Bah..Bah.." When he's in happy mood, he'll keep on blabbering that. But when he's hungry he'll start saying "Ammaaa...Mommaa.." while looking for me. At first I thought he recognizes me as "Momma" (mother). But just recently, while we were having dinner together with him at the dining table, as I put down a plateful of warm rice, Afeef tgk je the plate and terus his hand reaching out to grab the rice sambil ckp "Mommamamama..". Second scene was at Kak Nor's house. Her youngest son, Yusuf was eating kuih Rose, and upon seeing him enjoying the food, Afeef terus merangkak dgn laju towards Yusuf and terus panjat Yusuf to stand up and reach for the kuih sambil ckp "Mam..mam.mam..mamaa.." So "Mama" actually means "Food!!" not "Mother"! How disappointing.. (T_T)

 

4) Sangat expressive when eating.

5) Never disturb Mama or Babah when performing Solah.

6) Dah ade 'separation anxiety'. When we kiss him goodbye every morning to work, Afeef will open his arm and sometimes berpaut pd leher sbb nk ikut xnak ditinggal. But when we leave him eventually, he didn't cry but just stare, wondering where are we going leaving him behind. And when we are home from work, Afeef punye la excited upon seeing us at the door and open his arm minta diambil. If we don't take him immediately but do something else like putting the mails on the shelf or the EBM in the fridge first, he will cry out of disappointment. When we have just arrived from work, he would just want us to hold and cuddle him and refuse anybody to take him away from us, maybe takut if we ever vanish again from his eyesight. When we are going to work and I was carrying him before going out of the house, usually Mak will take him from me, but he will look away and berpaut kuat pd leher refuse to be away from me, takut kena tinggal perhaps..

7) Kalau dulu bile Mama pakai telekung Afeef still cry for me and only stops bile Mama in 'Toma'ninah' position. But now, Afeef is getting cleverer, everytime Afeef cry outloud pinta Mama ambil mesti mcm volume di'mute' bile Mama start pakai telekung.

8) Pandai nak keluar bersiar-siar and xsuke berkurung at one place. 1st scene was in our room. I was in the room with him yg tengah sitting and playing on the floor while I was busy cleaning up the room. Suddenly he heard riuh rendah outside at the tv lounge, he stopped playing and stared at the door, put down his toy and very quickly crawl towards the door, hold the door and merengek, nk keluar rupenye! 2nd scene was Atok going out of the house, laju je die kejar crawling to the door, and paut the grill to stand up smbil tgk atok kt luar. And whenever we went out an opened door die pun laju je kejar crawling out of the room..hihi..

At 9 months, Afeef is stil on EBM and BM. Mama tegar nk express BM at work smpai la 2nd AHZA is in the making..insyaAllah..semoga dengan usaha Mama ni, anak-anak Mama jadi anak yang bijak dan soleh, Aminn.. :)

Afeef at 8months 3 weeks

1) Makin ligat merangkak, xbole tinggal alone atas katil kejap, baru toleh sesaat dh smpi tebing.

2) Dulu masa kecik2, bile bangun malam nk nyusu Afeef cume merengek 'eh-eh-eh' je or buat 'suara hidung' (snorting), nowadays he's very vocal..haishh..bangun malam terus melalak xde warning dulu dh...

3) Pandai imitate org.

     a) Like, when I dribble a ball, he will make hand gestures as if he's dribbling the ball too. And when I give the ball to him, he'll tepuk2 the ball konon nk dribble ball la kn...hehehe.

     b) And sometimes (when he's not sleepy or hungry) when people waved hands at him bidding goodbye he'll wave back. Pandai kn Afeef Mama ni..

     c) Dah pandai kerut hidung buat gaya busuk. But when he does so, he doesn't mean to express "busuk" but he'll do it when he's excited or happy about something. He learned that from his Babah sbb Babah suke kerut hidung when laughing with Afeef. So Afeef bile sengih je mesti kerut hidung siap terangkat kening...sgt comell!

4) Babah dh turunkn cot die..so now we always put him in his cot whenever we want to leave him by himself. Tapi die pandai menjerit panggil org coz he's bored staying alone.

Just bought myself 2 Dorothy Perkins supergorgeous long shirts at Parkson KLCC, and they're totally gorgeous!

Hubby will be proud of me, for keeping to my words: PAKAI BAJU LABUH. (><)

Intended to buy just one, but later add another to round my receipt up to RM200 to be entitled to a membership with their chain of fashian retailers, and that includes Miss Selfridge and TopShop!!!!!

Oh no, I'm becoming more and more shopaholic now.

But d good thing bout this privilege card is (cewah, nk jugak sedapkn hati tu), the membership is free for life! Unlike La Senza, GAP and MotherCare, which are valid for only a year, pastu kene renew2, oh rugi2...

Since today coincidentally we get RM10 Parkson voucher for every RM100 spent and it is to be used by 31 December 2009, so I grab a Pumpkin Patch long sleeve t-shirt for my Chebol which was on 50% discount and cost me only RM21.50 after using an RM10 voucher, wow sgt murah!

A big fat pat on my shoulder for the wise spending, muehehe...
