Kick-start

It's been quite a long while since the last time I wrote about my kids. As much as I miss the limited times I spent with my kids, I miss writing about them; their milestones, our activities together.  However, eversince I joined this new workforce, I've became too occupied at work, and later too tired at home to even try to write a line. Time really flies and they've grown so much. I'd better do something before I missed everything.

I'm gonna treat this post as a kick-start to my effort in trying to spend at least an hour a day to write about my kids. I'll be back-posting my kids previous milestones and previous activities including our Singapore trip, KK trip and especially our beautiful Europe stays. But I promise, that will take a while, hehe, of course that is quite a list and I'll need some ample time to refresh my memories on all that :) 

Amalia's 1st step and 4th tooth!

My poohbear Ama'ia officially can walk by herself at 1years old! :))

Yesterday was Deepavali hol so I was at home with my kids tidying up the ever messy room, while Ama'ia was busy playing the cds at the tv shelf with Along Afeef. Suddenly I saw her trying to reach for the bed, and when she failed, she took a step forward, still can't reach for the bed so she took another step with a struggling frown on her face and she finally get hold of the bedside after the 3rd step. I immediately applauded for her great effort and achievement, and she smiled sheepishly and excitedly sbb berjaya showing of her 3+1 teeth yg baru tumbuh yesterday too!

Amalia's 1st Birthday - The Prep

As usual, kalau ade rezeki lebih sikit (Alhamdulillah..), 3D birthday cake and helium balloons are a must for mama. I'm the kind of person who appreciate beautiful and artsy things to the max. So that explains the 3D cake, and there's a huuuge childish side of myself that wanting so much and luuurve cute things and toys a lot! In fact, most of the time I bought toys for my kids because it is ME who wanted them hihi, anyways, I luurve cute balloons as much!! :D

So in the morning, we went to Kak Zurin's house in Putrajaya to fetch the beautifully made cute Winnie the Pooh cake, which due to Mama's busy being in the kitchen preparing the food i.e. Mee bandung muar, nasi ayam, mashed potatoes with gravy, coleslaw and bbq chicken, cake cantek itu telah dikerjakn oleh my darlings before sempat diambil gambar sobsob! TT

Late that evening, about 6pm sempat lagi went to Giant to buy mineral water and incomplete groceries for the party & plan to go to BalloonBz Taipan to buy the helium balloon, nasib baik surf the website to look for Taipan's phone no. & found Bdr Puteri branch instead, lega! Kalau pergi Taipan, alamat isya' br birthday girl sampai rumah huhu.

We were so glad to find the Bdr Puteri branch, 1stly, because it is so near to home. 2ndly, they tied up the balloons the correct way so as not to entangled them unlike Taipan's (we spent a good 15min detangling cutting the strings the 25 balloons on Afeef's 2nd bday!) and 3rdly, they blew the balloons to their max allowable size unlike Taipan who blew them unattractively small. Nasib baik order 50 only, as our car can only fit 50 balloons. Thank you Babah for being so understanding and supportive of your childish wife, you complete me mmuachhs! Just look at how delighted Amalia is looking at her 50 pink balloons! As excited as her Mama, that's my girl... (^.^)

Amalia's 1st birthday present :)

Bertambahnya ahli keluarga i.e our pwincess Amalia, thus we need more room while travelling. Saje usik Babah, rase mcm terlebih luas dah pulak ni, dh bole tmbh lg sorang hikhikhik! :p

Alhamdulillah yang tak terhingga pada Allah rabbal alamin, rezeki Allah swt dtg dalam pelbagai bentuk dan cara..

Semoga Allah sentiasa memberkati rezeki keluarga kami dan jauhkanlah kami dari sifat kufur dan harta haram amin ya rabb~ :)

Afeef - Mat Kacang

Afeef suke sgt makan kacang, his Chek ajar coz his Chek mmg suke kacang, and groundnuts mmg ade stock dpn tv satu bekas at rumah BSP. When he was about 1yr plus, his Chek always mamahkan groundnuts for him sbb Afeef belum byk geraham nk kunyah. Chek ckp Afeef mkn satu paket besar tu sorang! Chek tau sbb Chek mmg sengaje xmkn sbb nk tau Afeef mkn banyak mane.

Now at the age of 2yrs 4mths, Chek dah berjaya groom Afeef becoming an avid lover of peanuts! Last weekend balik BSP, Afeef terjumpe satu balang kacang botak (yg kaler kuning tu) depan tv. Mase tu Babah was watching World Badminton Championship 2011. Afeef suruh Babah open the balang and Babah open sekejap for him to take a few and tutup balik balang. So the whole day Afeef dok kepit balang tu sambil tangan sebelah genggam a few kacang and mulut tutup rapat mengunyah. turun naik tangga and keep on asking people near him to open the balang for him everytime bekalan dalam tapak tgn die dh abis. Chek was surprised that Afeef likes that peanuts coz it was so keras than usual. Patutla Mama dgr Afeef mengunyah ketap-ketup and bukan crunch2..sian anak Mama, kacang botak tu kalau crunchy lagi sedap sgt2 sebenarnye sayang.. So everytime org bukakan the balang, he will bersungguh2 sambil meleleh air liur mengutip kacang dalam balang with his left hand, and masukkan sebiji2 into his right hand’s palm. And sangat berusaha memenuhkan genggaman tangan die yang kecik tu, macam takut dh xbole amik lagi. Chek kesian so Chek ckp, “Amikla Afeef bawak balik Puchong. Kesian Chek tgk, xpe nnt chek beli lain..”

So ptg tu nak balik Puchong, biase when I start to salam everybody and Abang start to load in all our bags into the car, Afeef akan meluru nk keluar sbb takut kene tinggal. But this time around, sebab he was too engrossed with his kacangs, die buat xtau aje siap say “Bye..” to us sambil lambai and salam Mama and Babah. Xtau kacang botak dh masuk dlm kereta. Bile everybody hanta kami to the car, he was still carried by Chu Im and bid us goodbye dengan selamba nye siap senyum simpul and mengunyah kacang. But when I showed him balang kacang botak from inside of the car, die terpempan kejap and baru la nk masuk kereta, hahaha! Kelakar la anak mama ni..

Since he keep on asking me to open the balang for him and I was too busy feeding Amalia, I gave him the whole balang and he ate straight from the balang joyously the whole way back to Puchong. Sampai Giant stop kejap, and masuk je kereta balik minta Mama bukakan balang nikmat die tu..sudahnya hari ni, Afeef makan kacang sesaje, bubur, pasta semua mkn sikit je sbb dh kenyang kacang huhuhu!

Afeef 2mths and 4 mths old - anak yang caring

Mama: Afeef, come let's take bath syg..

Afeef: Nanak! (sambil main phone game)

Mama: Come la..Afeef good boy tak?

Afeef: Tade..

Mama: Iye la..Afeef good boy..

Afeef: Tade.. TADE!

Mama: Come la good boy Mama, sayang Mama x..Afeef sayang Mama kan..say 'sayang'?

Afeef: Amak! (coz kpl terbang pejuang die terlanggar gunung)

Mama: cepatla say 'sayang'..

Afeef: (still engross w his game) Owh yeke?

Mama: (terus picit pipi bayut die sbb gerammm)

 

5 min kemudian..

 

Mama: Afeef, cptla sayang..let's take bath..

Afeef: Tabole..TABOLE! (Mata xlepas dr iphone main game)

Mama: (Tetibe dpt idea..) Afeeef...huuu..huuu..Afeef....huu.. (pure2 nangis sambil gosok2 mata), come..let's take bath..huuu...

Afeef: (terus angkat muke and tengok mama penuh concern, and terus ckp dgn suara lembut n memujuk) Ok..ok...jom...jom.. (sambil tepuk2 and tarik tangan mama and angguk2 kepala) jom..jom..

 

Afeef mmg nampak anak sulung..sgt caring. Walaupun die suke garang dgn mama (sbb die tiru gaya Mama bile garang dgn die huhu..) tapi sgt responsible and caring. Due to that, I enjoy very much berlakon menangis whenever he refuses to listen to me nowadays hahaha! Sbb die akan datang pujuk siap peluk and kiss me, because he knows whenever he does that I will stop crying (pretentiously) and what important is, he will follow what I've initially asked him. :p

 

There's 1 scene, Afeef lepas mandi mmg struggle nk pakaikan baju die. Bukan ade ape pun, saje nk melawan, baik Mama baik Babah, same je. Because Afeef is so tall and bertulang keras and kuat, Mama selalu xlarat and xde kudrat nk lawan die unlike Babah yang bole kepit die kuat2 sambil pakaikan baju. So recently, after bathing, I tried putting on his pants and as usual he kicked me real hard on my leg and it was actually pretty hurting. Since I've found his softspot i.e. xbole tgk org nangis, I exaggerated the pain and pretend to cry sambil gosok my leg. Afeef yg tgh baring tu terus duduk and look closer at my face just to be sure that I was not laughing but crying (kehkehkeh..) and terus pujuk sambil gosok tempat sakit and ckp "ok...ok...ok..jom.." and terus hulur baju die yg die baling mula2 tadi tu.

 

Another scene was mase Mama nak tidurkan Afeef. Afeef mmg suke gentel bare skin, xkisahla leher ke, lengan ke perut ke, kadang2 adik die yg pakai tights and romper tu die seluknye celah bedah dkt lubang kaki tu nk gentel perut adik die yang semestinye tgh sedap tidur dan rimas. So semalam, as usual Afeef gentel leher Mama, tetibe die terjumpe macam kutil lemak tu kn, cepat2 die duduk and have a closer look at it dalam samar2 lampu tidur tu beria2 die tgk. He tried to pull it off, but failed. So sambil die tekan that spot with his small finger die mcm bace doa/berzikir which I don't really understand and upon finishing his recitation, he kissed the spot...oh it really touches my heart..mcm mane Mama selalu buat kat die bile sapu ubat pada luke sambil baca selawat syifa' tu mcm tu la die buat pd Mama...saayaaaannng buah hati mama ni... :)

 

Amalia 8 months old

1) Starts to show signs nk merangkak i.e. angkat punggung tinggi like doing london bridge, lepas tu buat crawling position and goyang2 punggung..menyulur combat style makin laju, xbole tinggal atas katil sekejap aje dh smpi tebing. For the record, dah banyak kali jatuh katil..just like along Afeef.
2) Makin lincah bermain, cepat aje mata die nampak barang, cepat aje capai and kalau x dapat berusaha dalam senyap sampai dapat. Tangkas jugak Amalia ni dalam kelembutan die tu.. :)
3) Makin banyak babbling...almost every waking hours babbles "Bababababaahh..", "Atatatatataaaaa!". Becok macam Along Afeef jugak ni. Boleh tahan nyaring suara dia. (mama, as usual x pandai lagi sebut TT)
4) Lepas tu suke sgt 'geram' nowadays, muke sweet innocent tibe2 menjerit, "Aaaaaaahh! Ahh!!!" sambil keras2 kan badan kegeraman, people around selalu terkejut.
5) Dah pandai pinching her telunjuk n thumb bile nk ambil something. Yang kelakar tu, she likes to aim the thing that she wants to pick with her thumb and pointing finger from afar sampai la jari2 die smpi to the object. Sangat cute, melentik2 jari die nak aim. She doesn't like to grab with all fingers but pinch, even Mama's spectacles pn die nk pinch mcm la my spec ni sebesar butir nasi hihi~
6) pandai main agah2 as in dah tau suspense and feeling nervous..suke sangat bile Mama buat2 ala2 Jaws, dtg slow2 dr jauh and makin dekat makin laju, melompat2 punggung n kaki die nervous.
7) sgt particular, kalau mama dah balik jangan harap la die nk abis kan EBM yang dh rendam. Dicampaknye botol tu. Nak yg direct. Air masak ke, air milo ke pun xnak kalau mama ade..die larikan muke die kalau kite sua ke mulut die.
